alright I just got my copy of gears of war and it's insane. Everything about the cover system and multiplayer is perfect.
the campaigns so real and gritty, just so much immersiveness to handle

well the rule of thumb for me is, if the game says 1080i only on the back than it's built to run at that resolution the best.

it won't, but it will be very hard for them to sell consoles at 500-600, when the vast majority of normal consumers buy consoles at 200.
No doubt about going over 10 million, but I just think the selling speed is going to be low the first year.

well for a game like gears of war I would of expected it to be filled with smiling children skipping through fields of flowers.

i checked all the stores, some got even 100 copies and sold out where I live and target, since nobody acknowledges it as a video game seller, had 8 copies. Funny enough this what I did for Halo 2, but that was preordered.
I'm getting mine around noon tomorrow, couldn't get it tonight cause I was busy. No preorder and still rockin. However I would never take that chance with HALO 3.
